Valiance Consulting approached LUMO to redefine their visual identity to better reflect the calibre of their work and the direction of the business. The goal was clear. Create a brand that communicates confidence, professionalism and strength, while standing apart from the typical consulting landscape.
We developed a refined identity system centred around a custom VC monogram. What began as an exploration of letterforms evolved into a distinctive geometric mark, subtly referencing the Victoria Cross. The result is a symbol that feels purposeful and considered, with enough flexibility to extend across the brand as a recognisable graphic device.
The colour palette plays a key role in this differentiation. A deep crimson, inspired by the Victoria Cross ribbon, replaces the expected corporate blues. Paired with a restrained off-white, it brings a sense of authority while remaining modern and memorable.
Across typography, layout and application, the identity was designed to feel sharp, minimal and deliberate. A noticeable shift from the previous brand, aligning Valiance Consulting with where they are heading, not where they have been.
